Games pair recovering

Two of Australia’s top women sprint hopes for the Commonwealth Games are reported to have recovered from injuries and will have final fitness tests on December 13. Miss R. Boyle, one of the world’s top sprinters, injured an achilles tendon; Miss B. Jordan tore a hamstring muscle.
“Reports from Melbourne are that Raelene Boyle is approaching top form and that she will be at her peak for the trials,” a national selector, Mrs D. Magee, said yesterday.
