Trotting in colour
Trotting and racing enthusiasts will be able to see live coverage of the 1973 New Zealand Trotting Cup and the 1973 Melbourne Cup on the N.Z.B.C. television network on Tuesday afternoon. Coverage will begin at 3 p.m. with a direct telecast from Addington in colour, to be followed by a direct satellite telecast of the Melbourne Cup in black and white.
