Six Waikato mayors
The Mayors of six Waikato towns will visit Christchurch today as guests of National Airways. While here they will visit the Town Hall, lunch !with the Mayor of Christi church (Mr N. G. Pickering) and in the afternoon inspect the Commonwealth Games complex at Queen Elizabeth II Park. The Mayors are: Messrs M. J. Minogue (Hamilton), A. G. Freeman (Te Awamutul, N. R. Hunt (Cambridge), C. E.) Wiseley (Morrinsville), A. M. Latta (Ngaruawahia), and Dr N. A. Algar (Matamata). Also with the party will be the chairman of the Hamilton Airport Authority (Mr R. T. Scott) and news representatives.
