WELLINGTON, June 17. Claims under the wool stabilisation and equalisation scheme had been approved for 11.2 million kilos of wool to June 11, the Acting Minister of Trade and Industry (Mr Walding) said in Parliament in a written reply to a question.

He had been asked bv Mr B. E. Taiboys (Nat.. Wallace) for what quantity of wool it was estimated that payments would be made under the scheme.

Mr Walding said that the initial estimate of wool eligible for payments for the first 12 months was 16.5 million kilos.
