An Australian buyer has; paid a five-figure sum for a 10-month-old Charolais heifer, which was loaded aboard the Hawea at Lyttel-I ton on Friday The heifer, bred by Commander T. S. Critchley, of j Winterholme, Kekerengu, has been sold to Mr T. J. Cottee,' of Ascot, Quensland, through the stud and bloodstock department of Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd, and the Australian Mercantile Land and Finance Company, of Brisbane.
