DATSUN IN BRITAIN
The Datsun company, which has had considerable success on the British Market with its four-cylinder models, has introduced a six-cylinder car, the 240 K G.T. Skyline saloon, to the market. The car, which has a detuned version of the 240 Z engine, has been well received by the British motoring press, unlike the fourcylinder 2-litre Datsun Laurel, which has been criticised for being too noisy and too expensive.
Fewer killed
Road deaths in Britain fell 5 per cent in February, although the total number of accidents reported was about the same at 26,400.
