CHANGE OF REFEREE
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI. A change of referee has been made for the interisland Rugby match at Whangarei tomorrow. Mr A. R. Taylor (Canterbury), who was appointed to do the job, has had to withdraw because of a leg injury. He will be replaced by Mr J. P. G. Pring (Auckland). Boxing.— Johnny Clark, the British and European bantamweight boxing champion, will fight the Australian. Paul Ferrari, for the Commonwealth title in Brisbane in August. Tennis.— The New Zealander, A. Parun. was beaten. 6-2, 6-2. by B. Borg (Sweden), in the third round of the Kent tennis championships yesterday.
