With the Hansell’s sponsored national age-group championships to be held next Saturday and Sunday at Masterton. it was encouraging to see good times from Canterbury members of the agegroup team at the open and • under-14 swimming carnival at ; the St Albans pool on Saturday. 1 Brian Honeybone (St Albans),! with fastest times in the 100 and 1 200 yards breaststroke and 100 yard* freestyle open events, showed very’ good form, and if! he can improve next week-end he will come home with a medal His breaststroke times of Imin i 15.5 sec and 2min 41.9 sec were; both good, and he showed his i versatility with a fine 57.55ec in the 100 yards freestyle.
