N.Z. croquet title
GV.Z. Press Association • AUCKLAND. : Mrs L. G. Middlemiss !(Pukekohe) won her third I New Zealand croquet (women’s singles championship, beating the Auckland I champion, Mrs K. Johnston, 26-25. Mrs Middlemiss had previiously won the title in 1957 and 1962. The English Rose Bowl, a handicap singles event, was won by Miss R. Elliott (Papatoetoe), who beat Mrs M Jacob (Henderson) in the final.
