Dispute not settled
(X.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 18. The Auckland Regional [Authority and its bus drivers J have clashed over the interpretation of terms to settle their timetable dispute. Bus drivers came out of a stop-work meeting yesterday [confident that the A.R.A. had agreed to give them a 10i minute comfort break on long runs, and the opportunity to have the final word on timetables. The A.R.A.. on the other hand, is equally sure that it has not agreed to 10-minute breaks, or to refer timetables [to the men for final approval. The A.R.A., the union, and the industrial mediator (Mr J. B. Cranston) wil meet again tomorrow.
