CRAYFISH THEFT
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Jan. 10. Three tons of crayfish tails, worth $15,650, were stolen from Skeggs Fisheries. Ltd. Bluff, last night. The burglary was discov-l ered by the manager of the company’s freezer, Mr A. K. Fowlds, when he entered the! building at 8 this morning. : The tails were in 125 plas-l tic bags, each marked with: a number, the date of delivery. and the name of the skipper of the boat delivering the tails.
