TOURIST HOTEL CORPORATION of NEW ZEALAND General Manager The Board of the Corporation wishes to appoint a top-level executive to succeed the present General Manager, who is shortly due to retire. A statutory authority, with an independent Board, the Corporation operates New Zealand* major chain of resort hotels. The Corporation will play a major part in the future of New Zealand'* rapidly expanding tourist industry. To realise this potential, the Corporation require* a man with a proven record of achievement, to be responsible to the Board for it* entire operation*. It is desirable that applicant* have held a senior position in a marketing oriented commercial or industrial organisation with a well-developed management structure, not necessarily In the hotel and accommodation industry. We are seeking a person whom attitude is entrepreneurial and who has the capacity to guide and enthuse senior executive*, but he will also have to demonstrate his ability to administer through carefully considered and well-balanced planning.
