(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Audience research showed that just under one million people watched the live telecast of the All Blacks match against Wales last week-end. The survey was conducted by the N.Z.B.C. staff in the four main centres. An average of 43 per cent of people over the age of 10 years watched the game, a statement from the N.Z.B.C. said. The live radio commentary was listened to by 7 per cent of the population.
Cricket.—The scheduled second round Australasian knock-out cricket match between Queensland and Tasmania at Brisbane on Sunday has been cancelled because of the strike by domestic airline pilots.
