BIGGER ENTRY FOR SECONDARY TENNIS
Players from 22 secondary schools—from Falrlle and Ashburton, In the south to Culverden, in the north—will compete in the annual Canterbury secondary schools’ tennis championships at Wilding Park for four days from next Monday. The tournament has drawn 148 players—nearly 50 more than last year—in the three grades of open, under 16 and third form. The seedings are: Open Boys’ singles (12 entries). —C.
