QUALIFIED TWICE
•'The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN. Screws Loose gave an unusual performance at the race trials staged by the Otago Trotting Owners', Trainers' and Breeders' Association at Forbury Park yesterday. Mrs D. M. Sutherland's Aksarben—Misfit mare qualified as a trotter and later in the day came out to win again and qualify as a pacer. The five-year-old mare was driven by his Duntroon trainer, I. S. Sutherland, in the trot and by G. R. Hora in the pace. Screws Loose trotted the mile and a half In 3mln 2Ssec —Ssec Inside the qualifying time—and his time In the pace was 3mln 20sec—Isec Inside the qualifying time.
