Film on Cuba
After his highly successful documentary, “Cuba 10 Years After,’’ Peter Adam, a director on the 8.8.C.*s weekly arts magazine, "Review,” returned to Cuba to make a sequel, and this time he used an entirely Cuban film crew.
The programme looks at the dynamic new film industry in Cuba, the National Folkloric Ballet Company, and three modem theatre companies. There are also interviews, with leading Cuban writers. They talk about the role of the artist in Castro's revolution and the amount of freedom possible in a Communist state; "Cuba; Art and the Revolution” screens from CHTV3 next Sunday.
