Andrianov (Russia) staved off strong Japanese challenges to win the men’s individual title at the Chunichl Cup international gymnastics competition with a total of 56.70 points. Second was the Munich silver medallist, E. Kenmotsu (Japan), with 56.50 points, and equal third were S. Kasamatsu and M. Tsukahara (Japan), with 56.25 points. The women’s title went to K. Jan? (East Germany), who scored 38.80 points. The Russians, N. Dronova (38.75 points) and L. Tourlscheva (38.70) were second and third.
