GOOD OMEN FOR TOUR
The New Zealand schoolboys’ water polo team had a great morale boost before leaving yesterday for its Australian tour. The'team played, and beat, three strong Wellington sides in the last two days. The Barbarians, virtually a Wellington representative team, were beaten 2-0 and a combined Maranui-University team lost to the schoolboys, 11-3. The Maranui team was New Zealand’s champion club side last year. Finally, the Hutt team, including three New Zealand representatives, was beaten 6-4.
