Stolen boat found
A 14ft fibre-glass boat on a trailer which was stolen from North Beach on Saturday was yesterday recovered by the Kaikoura police. A Mercury 50 h.p. motor is still missing. The boat was recovered in a paddock on a farm about 15 miles from Kaikoura on the inland road to Waiau. Police inquiries are continuing.
