Stack falls on man
A young man is on the seriously ill list in the resuscitation unit at Christchurch Hospital after an accident in which he was struck by a falling suck of bagged wheat at Kaiapoi about 8.15 a.m. yesterday. He is Grant Trevathan, aged 22, of 110 Idris Road, who suffered a complicated fracture and serious internal injuries. His condition last evening was described as fairly comfortable. The accident occurred on the premises of Transport (North Canterbury), Ltd.
