U.D.C. profit rises 34 p.c.
The unaudited group net profit of U.D.C. Group Holdings, Ltd, financier, for the six months to September 30, rose by $98,717, or 34.2 per cent to $387,441, compared with the previous corresponding period, the directors say in their half-yearly report. An unchanged interim dividend of 4.5 c a share (4J per cent) will be paid on December 21 to shareholders on December 11. Total assets, less deferred income, were about $5.2m higher at about s36m. The directors consider that the rate of profitability should be at least maintained for the second six months of the financial year to March 31.
