Crispy Savoury
A very quickly prepared savoury toast is called crispy savoury. For eight slices you will need:— 8 slices fresh toast 8 tablespoons mayonnaise 8 tablespoons coarsely, crushed cornflakes 4oz grated cheese Method: Combine cheese with mayonnaise and blend in cornflakes. Spread on buttered toast and put under grill until golden brown. Serve hot. This is another good one to serve with a bowl of soup if more nourishment is desired.
