For four you need:— 1 tin tomatoes or lib fresh 1 cup grated cheese 1 cup grated or minced onion 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs Pepper and salt Sweet basil Method: Sprinkle greased base of ovenproof dish with breadcrumbs and cover with sliced tomatoes then a laver of grated onion; season each layer with salt and pepper aind a pinch of basil. Continue in alternate layers until dish is full; top with grated cheese, and cover this lightly with breadcrumbs. Dot with butter and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
