Minstrels again
Since its inception in 1957, “The Black and White Minstrel Sh'ow” has established itself as one of the greatest light entertainment musical programmes in television. A new series took over the lead of the top-10 television programmes in England on its first transmission. It features the Television Toppers, Dai Francis, John Boulter, Margaret Savage and Andy Cole. Guest artists Neville King and The Monarchs will provide comedy. “The Black and White Minstrel Show” (8.8. C. was produced by Ernest Maxin. The first of six programmes screens from CHTV3 on Sunday.
