(N.Z P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SYDNEY. The biggest sporting contingent to leave Australia for a Commonwealth Games, comprising 236 competitors and officials, will represent Australia at the 1974 Commonwealth Games in Christchurch. A spokesman. for the Australian British Commonwealth Games Association, which decided the team’s size at the week-end, said the Christchurch contingent will include 105 more people than previous ones Australia will field competitors in track and field events, swimming and diving, cycling, boxng, wrestling, weight-lifting, badminton, shooting, and lawn bowls. The cost of sending the Australian team to Christchurch will be $20,000 cheaper than that for the 1970 Games in Edinburgh.
