Tournament won by Hill
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) SAN ANTONIO (Texas). M. Hill, of Jackson, Michigan, shot his fourth straight sub-par round to win the $125,000 San Antonio open with a score of 273—15 strokes under par. It was his second circuit victory, and brought him $25,000. Hill used accurate iron shots to fashion his final round of 69 (three under par), leaving himself tap-in putts on several holes as he made four birdies and had only one one-over. L. Trevino shot a final of 67 to give him a 13-under total of 275 and the second place. Hill is the younger brother of a frequent United States circuit winner. D. Hill.
