Royal celebration
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will celebrate their silver wedding anniversary on November 20 with a private party at Buckingham Palace, attended by between 200 and 300 friends and relatives. The guest list includes Prince Juan Carlos of Bourbon, King-designate of Spain, and his wife, Princess Sophia of Greece, who are cousins of the British Royal couple on both sides. The anniversary ceremonies will begin with a morning thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey, to which a general invitation has been issued to all couples married on the same day.—London. Nov. 6.
