Ship on reef at Land’s End
(N.Z.P. A. -Reuter— Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 5. Nine seamen were hauled to safety up rope lines fixed to 200 ft cliffs after a small Cypriot freighter ran aground on a reef in thick fog off Land’s End, Cornwall, early today. The captain and an apprentice have stayed on board the ship the Nefli, which is high and dry on the Long Ship Reef. They are in no danger, apparently.
