C.V.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BRISBANE. The Munich Olympic Games gold medallist, J. Cuneo, is the probable skipper of Australia’s challenger for the 1974 America’s Cup yachting classic. Cuneo, aged 34, a Brisbane optometrist, confirmed yesterday that, negotiations were proceeding between him and the head of the Western Australian syndicate backing the Australian challenger, Mr Alan Bond. Cuneo, a quiet, modest man, but a ruthless competitive yachtsman, won the Olympic Dragon class gold medal this year.
