Judging in “The Press” photographic competition, which attracted more than 1000 entries, was completed yesterday by Mr M. P. Conway (“M.P.C.” of the newspaper’s Practical Photography page), left, and Mr L. R. Bloxham (illustrations editor). The award of the over-all first prize of $5O, together with the names of the $2O prize-winners in the other two sections, will be announced on Monday. The 18 prize-winning prints, and a selection of others submitted, will be on display in the main office of “The Press” from Monday morning until 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 9. Winning prints for the fourth week appear on page 17 this morning.
