Photographic contest
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 3. The photographic club at Otago Boys’ High School has won the Ilford Shield for the inter-sec-ondary schools photographic competition, it was announced today. The competition was organised by the Wellington Photographic Society on behalf of the Photographic Society of New Zealand. A total of 48 schools entered, and the winning school scored 15 points. Buller High School, Westport, was second with eight points, and Wanganui High School and Shirley Boys’ High School, Christchurch, shared third place with five points. The place-getters in the various sections were:—
