THREAT MADE TO SCHOOL
The Christchurch C. 1.8. is urgently seeking information about a group called the Student Anarchist (.roup, after a threat by letter to blow up a Christchurch secondary school.
The principal of the State school received the threatening letter which said the group would resort to “incendiarism and bombs” i four proposals were not adopted during the next two weeks. The letter was postmarked October 31 and referred to the police on Thursday. The letter, claimed to be written by the Student Anarchist Group, said the group would stop at nothing and

At this stage the police are concentrating on trying to prevent the threats from actually taking place. Mr Wilkinson said that the proposals could be achieved through lawful means. . The school is not Christchurch Girls’ High School, which was involved in a recent controversy.
