WANAKA SAILS

DUNEDIN, Nov. 2
The roll-on vessel Wanaka sailed from Dunedin at noon today after agreement between her crew and owner, the Union Steam Ship Company, to end a seamen’s stoppage which had been due to last until tomorrow night. A company spokesman said the claim by the Wanaka’s 14 Seamen’s Union members, involving the amount of money paid back to the company for time off. would be put to the Remuneration Authority.
