(N.Z. Press Association) NELSON.
The Nelson cricket captain, B. Hampton, will not be available for the Central Districts team this year. He said yesterday that he had considered returning to firstclass play but had now decided not to.
Hampton, aged 31, gave up first-class cricket in 1968 after four years as a Plunket Shield all-rounder. He will continue to play in Nelson.
