Presbyterians favour union
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH,
Nov. 1. The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand last evening voted in favour of church union on the present plan. The vote was 67.8 per cent in favour of the plan and 32.2 per cent against. Of the 326 members eligible to vote, 314 did so. A sessional committee will be appointed tomorrow to decide how best to implement
