Arson in cell

Hamilton detectives have confirmed that a fatal fire in a cell at the Waikeria Youth Centre, in which an 18-year-old youth died and another was burned, was arson. The head of the Hamilton C. 1.8. (Detective Senior-Ser-geant L. D. Sinton) today said the dead youth’s cellmate had been interviewed in hospital. As a result, the police would continue to make a few more inquiries.
