N.Z. men to climb Andes

WELLINGTON, November 1. Five young Wellington men will leave this month for Chile to climb the relatively unexplored peaks of the Patagonian Andes. Mr T. Clarkson will lead the team of Messrs P. Milsom, aged 23, J. Spearpoint, 21,1. Thorne, 22, and D. Bamford, 22.
They will leave by ship on November 16 for Punta Arenas, from where they will travel by bus and boat to the starting point of their climb.
The Patagonian Andes have been explored only four timea in modem history, three of those times by New Zealanders,
