B.O.S. sales ahead
Sales of British Office Supplies, Ltd, for the first six months show an increase of 13 per cent over the corresponding period last year, the directors say in the half-yearly report. Provided this trend continues and costs can be contained, another satisfactory result should be nroduced by the group, they say.
An unchanged interim dividend of 5J per cent has been declared, payable on December 11, ex dividend November 15.
At an extraordinary general meeting on December 6, the directors will seek shareholders’ approval to increase the number of directors from seven to nine, and to increase nominal canital from $BOO,OOO to $1,000,000.
