son NMA’s Yard. Noon: Street Procession of Floral Floats, and start of
Barbecue at Showgrounds. 1 p.m.: Mass Liberation of Pigeons. Start of Fleece to Gar-
ment Competition. 1.05 p.m.: Te Wai Pounamu Maori Girls College Group. (On Dias.) 1.25 p.m.: Fancy Dress and Decorated Prams and Tri-
cycles. (Assemble at 1.15 p.m.) 1.30 p.m.: Paraplegic Athletic Display in Ring. 2 p.m.: Baby Show.
2.45 p.m.: Pet Parade. (Outside Ring). Vintage Car Display. 3 p.m.: Caber Tossing and Sheaf Tossing. Junior Miss Methven and Miss Methven Contest (On Dias.) 3.10 p.m.: Tyre Changing Contest. 3.30 p.m.: Close of Voting. Grand Parade of Floats with Bands and Marching Girls.
4 p.m.: Presentation of Junior Princess award and Crowning Ceremony. 8 p.m.: Festival Night Dance in Mt Hutt Memorial Hall. Arts and Pottery Display —Smallbone’s Garage. Hours: — November 3, 2-4 p.m., 7-8.30 p.m. November 4, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. November 5, 2-5 p.m. November 6, 2-4 p.m.
