I Saturn is approaching opposition but being far north is not well placed from our latitudes. It lies in the constellation Taurus, rising at 10.30 p.m. on November 1; at 9.30 p.m. on November 15 and at 8.20 p.m. on November '3O. The asteroid, Vesta, with a . magnitude of 6.6, is well Iplaced for observation this month. It can be found in iTaurus, where it passes close Ito the bright star Aldebaran iat the end of the month.
