Good result by T. J. Edmonds
The half-yearly accounts of T. J. Edmonds, Ltd, disclosed a trading profit which was very satisfactory —being an increase on last year’s result and on budget, the directors announce. “Sales continue at a good level, so that annual prospects are favourable—if the buoyant nature of the economy continues and external costs do not grow at a greater pace,” they say. The company will pay a steady interim dividend of 5 per cent on December 8.
