Success at judo titles
The Christchurch International Judo Club, which air eady has an impressive string of successes, added to them recently with a record number of pladngs for any club at the South Island judo championships at Dunedin. The club had 17 first pladngs, seven seconds and eight thirds from entries In 24 events, and three other clubs In Christchurch —Avonhead, Can-Am-Ju and Crichton Cobbers—helped bring back a total of 23 firsts. 12 seconds and 1« thirds to the dty.
