HOT AIR
Hot air brought relief to shirt-sleeved members of the Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Board at their meeting yesterday.
A member noticed in the list of calls to automatic alarm systems last month one to the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation where the cause was given as hot air.
“That tickled my fancy,” he said. “We’d better have the brigade standing by tonight,” another commented.
