WELLINGTON. Oct. 31. New Zealand had decided to carry on its training assistance to .South Vietnam while awaiting the outcome of the peace negotiations, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Sir Keith Holyoake) today. The provision for training assistance was due for review towards the end of this year in the light of Vietnamese needs, he said. “As the Prime Minister I (Mr Marshall) said on Friday, all New Zealanders will weli come the prospect of an early ■ peace in Indo-China that ■safeguards the right of th* ;peoples of that area to decide their own future,” said Sir [Keith Holyoake. “It will certainly please/us if, as one element in a major movement towards the establishment of such a peace, our 40 or 50 instructors can b* 'brought home earlier than we had expected.”
