Lamb sales in Singapore

A campaign to win more customers for New Zealand lamb in Singapore would start In a fortnight the chairman of the Meat Board (Mr C. Hilgendorf) said. In a statement on his return from a regional conference in Hong Kong of New Zealand trade commissioners, Mr Hilgendorf said the Meat Board would continue vigorous promotion of New Zealand meat in Asia and SouthEast Asia.
Two weeks ago it had been incorrectly reported that the board had stopped promoting lamb in Japan, said Mr Hilgendorf. “In fact, the board had just completed a major survey of the Japanese market, and intended to follow up the valuable leads this had given.”
