WELLINGTON, October 30. The Maori Nga Tamatoa Council is to contest the four Maori seats at the General Election on November 25. The candidates are.— Southern Maori: Miss Alice Coromandel, student, of Wellington. Western Maori: Mr John Tahu, of Wellington. Northern Maori: Miss Kura Rewiri, arts student, of Christchurch.
Eastern Maori: Mrs Hana Jackson, student, of Auckland.
Chathams Visit — The Member of Parliament for Lyttelton, Mr T. M. McGuigan and the M.P. for Wairarapa, Mr J. H. Williams, will end a five-day visit to the Chatham Islands today.' (P.A.)
