No trace of fishermen
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Oct. 30. Further searches at the week-end failed to find any trace of two members of a fishing party which disappeared at Twelve Mile on Saturday, a week ago. Fifty volunteers were in the field on Saturday, and a smaller number on Sunday. The search was controlled by Sergeant R. J. Laredo, of the Greymouth Police. The search was for Noel Thomas Wright, of Ballance Street, Runanga, and his 12-year-old brother-in-law, Douglas Timothy McSherry, of Washington Road, Nelson. The body of the boy’s father, Douglas Rowland McSherry, who was the third member of the party, was found at Barrytown last Monday.
