$260 TAKEN
A cash tin containing $260 was stolen from the National Party rooms in Lichfield Street at the week-end. The tin was stolen from a safe, which was opened with a key the burglar found in a drawer when he searched the rooms.
The burglar entered the premises by jemmying a front door to Tillman’s Furnishers, 78 Lichfield Street. A cash I sum of $7 was taken from till [drawers in Tillmans.
