(N.2.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) LONDON.
J. Dawes, who captained the Lions on their successful tour of New Zealand last year, is fighting to get fit to play in the London Counties side against the All Blacks at Twickenham on Novembet 11.
Dawes, a London Welsh and Wales centre, returns to first-class Rugby on Saturday with his club’s second XV only six weeks after dislocating a shoulder. He said: “I regard three matches as the minimum fot me to get back to fitness, so I should be ready to tackle the All Blacks.”
