Cyanide in letter

The Israeli Embassy in Bonn, West Germany, has received a letter containing cyanide which, on contact with air, develops a lethal poison gas, according to an embassy spokesman. I The letter, posted in the ;West German city of Karlsruhe, was intercepted and handed over to police because the addressee was unknown at the embassy, the spokesman said. ; The incident occurred on October 2, but was not rewealed until yesterday.
